After a Himalayan glacier collapse caused catastrophic flash flooding between Nepal and Tibet — killing more than 1,000 people and leaving 4,000 missing — this congregation's Outreach Commission approved a donation to UNICEF to help fund relief efforts on the ground.

A diocesan giving initiative has raised $102,621.15 over the past year to support St. Edward's feeding program, funding both daily meals for hundreds of people each weekday and a part-time cook position — while also raising the church's public profile and drawing new volunteers from neighboring parishes.

Volunteers from the church's Crossroads ministry helped frame walls for a new Fuller Center for Housing home being built for Makayla Parks, a soon-to-be homeowner, as part of a build that drew volunteers from several states.

The church hosted a benefit concert by local group Heaven 4 Shore, with proceeds going to fund the band's upcoming mission trip to the Bahamas — a small congregation directly fueling outward-facing mission work.
