In the Life of the Saints
A Greek philosopher who tried several schools of thought before an old man on a beach pointed him to the Hebrew prophets, Justin found in Christianity the fulfillment of everything true in Greek philosophy. He opened one of history's first Christian schools in Rome and was beheaded for refusing to sacrifice to Roman gods.
